NGOs, Development and Globalization

Les organisations non gouvernementales (ONG) jouent un rôle croissant et fondamental dans le développement et l’économie internationale. Les recherches existantes en Économie sur ce thème sont cependant limitées.
Le but de ce séminaire informel est de faire avancer la frontière sur cette ligne de recherche d’un point de vue théorique et empirique.
Les interventions, de chercheurs en économie et autres sciences humaines, mais aussi de professionnels sont les bienvenues.
Ce séminaire a lieu 3 fois pas an sur le Campus Jourdan, 48 boulevard Jourdan, 75014 Paris.

Non governemental organizations (NGOs) play a central role in development and international economics. The existing literature in Economics on the behavior and emergence of NGOs is however scarce. This informal seminar aims at bringing together theoretical and empirical researchers working on NGO-related issues. We welcome the participation of researchers in economics and other social sciences, as well as practitioners willing to share their knowledge of NGOs.
The seminar takes places three times a year on the Jourdan Campus of the Paris School of Economics, 48 boulevard Jourdan, 75014 Paris.
